Bigbang, a Norwegian rock band formed in 1992, was led by frontman and chief
songwriter Øystein Greni. The group initially included Christer Engen on drums
and Erik Tresselt on bass. Their early influences were American punk, hardcore
bands, and classic rock from the 1960s to the 1980s. They released their debut
album Waxed in 1995 under their independent label Grand Sport. The band's lineup
changed frequently, with Greni as the only constant member. In 1999, they signed
