Bickram Ghosh, born on October 20, 1966, in Kolkata, India, is a tabla player.
He received early training from his father, Shankar Ghosh, and later from S.
Sekhar. Bickram Ghosh's career began with collaborations in classical Indian
music, working with notable artists such as Ali Akbar Khan, Amjad Ali Khan, and
Shivkumar Sharma. He served as a regular accompanist for Ravi Shankar for over
ten years. In 2001, he formed the group Rhythmscape, which celebrated its tenth
anniversary with concerts in Kolkata and Mumbai featuring American percussionist
