Beyond the Embrace
Beyond The Embrace was an American melodic death metal band from New Bedford,
Massachusetts formed in 2000. The group consisted of Shawn Gallagher on vocals
and Oscar Gouveia on guitar, with Jeff Saude and Alex Botelho as additional
guitarists, Mike Bresciani on drums, and Adam Gonsalves on bass. Their debut
album, Against the Elements, was released in 2002 via Metal Blade Records. The
band embarked on tours supporting acts such as Kataklysm, Divine Empire, Misery
