Beverly Glenn-Copeland, born in January 1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a
Canadian singer-songwriter and pianist. He began his career as a folk singer
incorporating jazz, classical, and blues elements. In 1961, he was one of the
first black students to study at McGill University in Montreal. Glenn-Copeland
released his debut album Beverly Copeland in 1970 followed by Beverly
Glenn-Copeland in 1971. His electronic album Keyboard Fantasies, recorded using
equipment including a Yamaha DX7 and a Roland TR-707, was released in 1986. The
