Benoît Delbecq
A gifted and versatile pianist, Benoît Delbecq's early musical training prepared
him for demanding projects in contemporary jazz, improvised and avant-garde
music. A master of both writing and sound production techniques, he has taken
part in a multitude of ambitious projects: Hask, Ambitronix with Steve
Arguelles, Delbecq 5, Delbecq Unit, The Recyclers and various artistic
performances (readings with writer Olivier Cadiot). Awarded the Villa Médicis
prize in 2001 and the Grand Prix de l'Académie Charles-Cros for Circles And
