Benny the Butcher - born Jeremie Damon Pennick on November 27, 1984, in Buffalo, New York - is a rapper who balances his successful solo career with his membership in the hip-hop collectives Griselda and Black Soprano Family. Initially releasing music under the stage name B.E.N.N.Y., he made his debut with the Tana Talk mixtape in 2004, followed by B.E.N.N.Y. vs. Lil Wayne in 2007.
