Beáta Dubasová, born on May 14, 1963, in Stropkov, Czechoslovakia, is a Slovak
pop singer who began performing in singing competitions during her elementary
school years. At fourteen, she started singing with her brother's band at local
events. While attending high school in Prešov, she met singer Peter Nagy, who
wrote several songs for her. Dubasová launched her professional career in 1984
with her backing band Kamene, releasing the singles "Maznáčik" and "Účesy". Her
