Barrabas, a Spanish musical group formed in 1971, was founded by Fernando Arbex
following the dissolution of Los Brincos. The band combined symphonic richness
with Latin rhythms and funk influences, similar to contemporaries like Santana
and Mandrill. Their debut album, Barrabás, subtitled Música caliente, featured
hits such as "Woman" and "Wild Safari", which achieved international success,
reaching Number 1 in Canada. The group's second album, Barrabas Power (1973),
marked the departure of Iñaki Egaña, who was replaced by José Luis Tejada. In
