Bardo State
Bardo State is a Dutch electronic duo from Amsterdam formed in 2004 by Frank
Wijn and Dorian Broekhuyse. Wijn is the son of Dutch concert pianist Jan Wijn,
while Broekhuyse attended the conservatory in Amsterdam and has experience in
pop and dance music. Their music is influenced by composers including Satie,
Ravel, and Arvo Pärt. They released their debut studio album, Mariposa (2008),
and collaborated with various vocalists such as Jo Lemaire and Kevin Mark Trail.
