Barbaro Fines y Su Mayimbe is a dynamic salsa and timba ensemble founded on May
29, 2010, in Lima, Peru, by Cuban pianist and composer Bárbaro Fines Fortes. A
Havana native and nephew of Manolito Simonet, Barbaro Fines honed his craft with
renowned Cuban groups such as La Charanga Forever and Issac Delgado before
relocating to Peru. There, he assembled a powerhouse band blending Cuban and
