Martin Christopher Kennedy, known as Bap Kennedy, was born on June 17, 1962, and
was a singer-songwriter from Belfast, Northern Ireland. He started his musical
career in 1978 with the punk band Sellout. In 1980, he formed the band 10 Past
7, which gained national recognition when they appeared on Channel 4's music
show The Tube in 1983. After moving to London in 1987, he founded Energy
Orchard, a rock band that toured extensively throughout the UK, Europe, and
