Banda Bassotti is an Italian ska punk ensemble from Rome established in 1987. The group originated from social initiatives started in 1981 at construction sites in Montespaccato. The name derived from the Italian version of the characters the Beagle Boys. Their recording career began with the debut studio recording Figli della stessa rabbia (1992) released on the label Gridalo Forte Records.
