Back Door Slam
Back Door Slam was a blues rock band formed on the Isle of Man in 2003 by Davy
Knowles. The group initially consisted of Knowles, Jamie Armstrong, Ross Doyle,
and Brian Garvey. After Garvey's tragic death in a car accident in 2004, the
remaining members continued as a trio, releasing two EPs and performing
extensively on the Isle of Man before moving to London. In 2007, they secured a
spot at the SXSW Festival in Texas and released their debut album Roll Away,
which peaked at number 3 on Billboard's Blues Albums chart. The band toured
