Babbal Rai, born Simranjeet Singh Rai in Samrala, Punjab, India, is an Indian
Punjabi singer, songwriter, and actor. He made his professional recording debut
with the studio album Sau Putt: The First Chapter, released by the label Point
Zero in March 2010. Although the album brought him recognition within the music
industry, it was not a commercial success as Rai was unable to return to India
