B. Bumble & the Stingers was an American instrumental rock project formed in Los
Angeles in 1961, emerging from the city’s thriving recording scene and featuring
a rotating line-up of accomplished session musicians. Combining early rock and
roll with novelty arrangements and classical influences, the group became known
for transforming familiar melodies into energetic instrumental hits. Their
breakthrough single, "Bumble Boogie", released in 1961, reached number 21 on the
Billboard Hot 100, introducing their piano-driven sound to a wider audience. The
