Aysanabee
Aysanabee is the stage name of Toronto-based singer-songwriter,
multi-instrumentalist, and record producer Evan Pang, who combines folk, pop,
and rock music with a powerful message inspired by his Indigenous roots. Born
into an Oji-Cree family, he grew up in Kamnistiquia, Thunder Bay, and taught
himself how to play guitar and write songs. Even though he played in several
music projects, he decided to launch his solo career after suffering a
near-death experience while working for a mining company in Northern Ontario.
Soon after, he relocated to Toronto to pursue a career in music...
