The Axel Rudi Pell band is the brainchild of the German guitarist of the same
name. An old-fashioned guitar hero, Axel Rudi Pell makes no secret of his
admiration for Ritchie Blackmore and Yngwie Malmsteen. His melodic heavy metal
never neglects epic ballads, once again in the great tradition of the genre.
After four albums with Steeler, Axel Rudi Pell released Wild Obsession in 1989.
