Awa Lemen
Awa Lemen is a French R&B and soul artist born in Burkina Faso to a French
father and a Burkinabe mother. She grew up in Rouen, where her musician father
introduced her to music at an early age. At the age of 12, she began writing and
composing her own songs on the piano. Self-taught, she set up a home studio in
her bedroom and learned to record and mix her tracks by following online
tutorials. In 2018, Awa Lemen released her first official single, "Losing My
