Aurelius Sängerknaben Calw, a German boys' choir, was founded in 1983 by
Hans-Jörg Kalmbach in Calw. Under the artistic leadership of Johannes Sorg from
2001 to 2007, followed by Bernhard Kugler in 2008, the choir expanded its
repertoire to include both sacred and secular choral music. They performed
regularly with notable orchestras such as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the
Vienna Philharmonic, under conductors including Claudio Abbado and Pierre
