Asmodeus is an Austrian black metal band formed in Graz in 1996 by Tyr and
Desdemon under the name Diabolus, before changing their name. The group
initially combined black and death metal before moving toward a predominantly
black metal style. They released their first proper demo, As the Winter Moon
Bleeds, in 2000, followed by Embers of Aeon later that year. Their debut album,
Phalanx Inferna, appeared in 2003, followed by Imperium Damnatum in 2006.
Asmodeus toured and performed extensively across Europe, including shows with
Belphegor, Dark Funeral, Naglfar, and Aura Noir. Aft...
