Artist Vs Poet, an American power pop band from Fort Worth, Texas, was formed in
late 2007. The band's lineup underwent several changes before stabilizing with
Joe Kirkland on vocals and Jason Dean on bass and drums. In 2008, Artist Vs Poet
signed with Fearless Records and released their debut self-titled EP. Their
first full-length album, Favorite Fix, was released in 2010 and reached number
