Arno
Arno is stage name of Arnold Charles Ernest Hintjens, the Belgian singer who
enjoyed international success during the early '80s as frontman of TC Matic. He
later launched a successful solo career, recording albums in multiple different
languages and even moving into film scoring. He was born as Arnold Charles
Ernest Hintjens in Ostende, Belgium, on May 21, 1949, and made his musical debut
with the band Freckleface, whose self-titled debut album was released in 1972.
