Arkangel
Arkangel, a Belgian metalcore band formed in Brussels in 1997, emerged during a
period when Slayer dominated the European heavy metal scene. The group was
initially inspired by Slayer and released their album Prayers Upon Deaf Ears in
1998. In 1999, Arkangel released Dead Man Walking, their album under GoodLife
Recordings. The band's album, Hope You Die by Overdose, was released in 2004 via
Private Hell Records and showcased a darker, more brutal punk hardcore sound,
helping Arkangel gain traction in the metalcore scene during the 2000s. Their
