Arid
Arid, a Belgian indie rock band from Gand, formed in 1995, with members
including Jasper Steverlinck on vocals and guitar, David Du Pré on guitar, Filip
Ros on bass, and Steven Van Havere on drums. Their breakthrough came in 1996
when they reached the final of a Humo magazine contest, after which they signed
with Double T Records. In 1999, Arid released their debut album Little Things Of
Venom, which reached number 15 on the Belgian charts and achieved gold status.
Notable singles from this period include "Too Late Tonight" and "All Will Wait".
