Ari Koivunen
Ari Mikael Koivunen, born on June 7, 1984, in Kouvola, Finland, is a singer
known for his work in heavy metal and rock music. He won the Finnish Karaoke
Championships in 2005 and placed third in the Karaoke World Championships the
same year. Koivunen's breakthrough came in 2007 when he won the Finnish singing
competition Idols. His debut album, Fuel for the Fire, was released in 2007 and
achieved double platinum status. In November 2008, he joined the heavy metal
band Amoral as their lead vocalist, contributing to albums such as Show Your
Colors (2009), Beneath (2011), Fallen Lea...
