Ari Ambrose

Ari Ambrose, born 1974, is an American jazz tenor saxophonist and bandleader. He studied in Washington, D.C., before enrolling at the Manhattan School of Music in 1991, where he performed with trumpeter Ryan Kisor. Ambrose first attracted notice with his 1998 trio album Introducing Ari Ambrose, featuring bassist Dennis Irwin and drummer Billy Hart, released on SteepleChase Records.
