R.ef were a South Korean boy band formed in 1995, consisting of Lee Sung Wook,
Park Chul Woo, and Sung Dae Hyun. The trio debuted with their first album Rave
Effect in March 1995, which included notable singles such as "Farewell Formula",
"Heartbreak" and "Silent Scream". Their second album, Back to the Black, was
released in April 1996, featuring hits like "Luminous Love" and "Walking Into
Your Heart". In September of the same year, they released their third album,
Memories in Fall. The group transitioned from rave music to hip-hop in 1998,
renaming themselves from R.ef (Rave ef...
