This French pop-rock band made a thunderous appearance with the album Archimède
in 2009. Led by brothers Nicolas and Frédéric Boisnard, Archimède's rock is
friendly, dynamic and refreshing, with French lyrics à la Dutronc and
Anglo-Saxon riffs descended directly from Oasis. Two years later, the
devastating Trafalgar confirms the claims of the new princes of French rock.
Their "franglo-saxon pop", as they call it, is back in 2014 with the album
Arcadie. The catchy single "Julia" follows the hits "Le Bonheur" and "Je
prends".
