Antonio Ciacca
Antonio Ciacca, born March 14, 1969 in Wuppertal, Germany, is an
Italian-American jazz musician and arranger. He began piano lessons at age seven
and studied in the United States. Ciacca's career started as a sideman for
artists like Art Farmer, James Moody, Lee Konitz, Mark Murphy, Dave Liebman, and
Steve Grossman. In 1993, he moved to Detroit to study at Wayne State University
under Kenny Barron, and later took private lessons with Jaki Byard in New York.
