Anna Szałapak was a Polish singer and ethnographer renowned for her lyrical
interpretations of poetry, primarily associated with the Piwnica pod Baranami
literary cabaret from 1979 to 1997. Her musical career featured acclaimed
recitals such as Z nich są światy (1987) and Żywa woda (1991). Her discography
includes the live recording Szałapak w Trójce (1999) and the studio album Serca
