Ann Richards, born Margaret Ann Borden in 1935 in San Diego, California, U.S., was an American singer. Raised in Albany, California, she began singing at age 15 and received vocal lessons from Judy Davis in exchange for babysitting Davis's children. In 1954, bandleader Charlie Barnet hired Richards for a five-month tour after hearing her perform at the El Patio Ballroom in San Francisco.
