Anita Dobson
Anita Dobson, born Anita May on April 29, 1949, in Stepney, London, is a British
actress and singer. She trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art
before embarking on her career. Her breakthrough as a singer came with "Anyone
Can Fall In Love", released in August 1986, which reached Number 4 in the UK
singles chart. The song was based on the theme music of EastEnders, the BBC soap
opera where Dobson played landlady Angie Watts from 1985 to 1988. Her other
