Anita Jane Bryant, born on 25 March 1940 in Barnsdall, Oklahoma, was an American
singer known for her contributions to pop and traditional pop music. She began
singing at age two in the First Baptist Church of Barnsdall and performed at
local events by six. Her early television appearances included The Anita Bryant
Show on WKY, which she hosted at 12 years old. Her music career took off with
