The Anime Allstars were formed in Germany in 1999 around the music producer Andy
Knote. The group consists of a permanent ensemble - including Noel Pix, Fred
Röttcher, Frank Schindel, Ronnie van Lankeren, Tina Frank, Petra Scheeser,
Connie K. and Ruth Kirchner - supplemented by occasional guest singers such as
Ariane Roth and Gerry Köhler. They perform German-language theme songs, endings
and insert songs for anime series such as Digimon, Dragon Ball Z, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One
Piece and Detective Conan. Several anime compilations were released between 2002
