As well as performing and recording with Angus & Julia Stone – the world-famous
folk duo he formed with his sister in 2006 – Angus Stone has carved out a name
for himself as a folkie singer-songwriter in his own right. Born on April 27,
1986 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, he first broke away from the family
name to focus on his own songcraft in 2009, with his debut solo album, Smoking
Gun, arriving in April that year under the pseudonym Lady of the Sunshine. The
