Angine de Poitrine, an experimental rock duo from Saguenay, Quebec, was formed
in the 2020s by the musicians Khn de Poitrine and Klek de Poitrine; the pair
first met as teenagers and initially used oversized papier‑mâché masks and
stylized costumes as a joke before developing a distinctive visual identity.
Their breakthrough came with the single "Sherpa" in 2024, followed by the debut
album Vol. 1 on 9 June 2024, which showcased microtonal instruments, complex
