Ane Brun – born Ane Brunvoll on March 10, 1976 in Molde, Norway – is a
highly-acclaimed art pop/folk singer and songwriter. Born into a musical family
– her mother Inga was a jazz singer and pianist – Brun recorded her first demos
in Bergen, Norway while attending school. Her first proper debut album, Spending
Time with Morgan, was released in 2002. The released managed to break into the
Top 20 on the Norwegian albums chart. After touring to support her debut, she
released A Temporary Dive (2005), which climbed to Number 1 and was
