Andranik Madadian, known professionally as Andy, was born on April 22, 1958, in
Iran and is an Armenian-Iranian singer-songwriter. He gained initial recognition
as part of the duo Andy & Kouros with Kouros Shahmiri, releasing four albums
together from 1985 to 1991. The duo split in 1992, and Madadian embarked on a
successful solo career. His notable albums include Tanhaee (1994) and And My
Heart... (2000). In 2002 and 2004, he reunited with Shahmiri for sold-out
