Andrei Vladimirovich Derzhavin is a Russian singer, composer, and the frontman
of the group Stalker, born in Ukhta, Soviet Union, on September 20, 1963. Born
to geophysicist parents, he studied the piano and graduated from the music
school in Ukhta before attending the Ukhta State Technical University, where he
co-founded Stalker in 1985. With Stalker, he released the group's first tape
album (magnitoalbum), Zvyozdy, in 1986, followed by Novosti iz pervykh ruk in
