Andrew Scott
Robert Andrew Scott, born September 27, 1979, is a Canadian musician and
songwriter specializing in alternative country, alternative folk, and folk rock,
with influences from folk and blues. Born and raised in Grande Prairie, Alberta,
he studied music at the University of Lethbridge and became guitarist and lead
vocalist of The Turncoats. The band released Bloodrunnin and Teeth Like A
Chainsaw. Scott later lived in Japan, where he continued performing and released
13 Birds of Prey (2009), featuring international collaborators. He subsequently
released My Time In The Empire (2011)...
