Andrew Michael Ripp was born on 24 August 1982 in Palatine, Illinois, and
emerged as a singer, songwriter, and guitarist in the American rock music scene.
Ripp first gained attention as a songwriter, contributing to Ryan Cabrera’s You
Stand Watching, which charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and other U.S. charts. He
released his debut studio album Fifty Miles to Chicago in January 2008, produced
with Dan Lavery, and followed with She Remains the Same in September 2010, which
