Andres Franco
Andrés Franco, born Wilson Andrés Guevara Agudelo on December 7, 1984, in
Itagüí, Antioquia, has become a rising figure in Colombian popular music.
Starting at 15, he honed his craft performing salsa, merengue, and tropical
music with Medellín orchestras before relocating to Palmira, Valle del Cauca, in
2005 to pursue formal training, culminating at the Conservatory of Cali. Andrés
Franco transitioned to the popular music genre in 2020 with "Dime que sí," a
