Ananda Sukarlan is an Indonesian-Spanish classical composer and pianist born on
June 10, 1968, in Jakarta. He began his musical education at age five and later
graduated from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in 1993. Sukarlan was
diagnosed with Asperger syndrome and Tourette syndrome at age 28. In 1994, he
received the third prize at the Concours International d'Orléans. Sukarlan
performed as a soloist with symphony orchestras across Europe and performed with
