Ana Inés Prada Montauban, professionally known as Ana Prada, is a Uruguayan
singer-songwriter and psychologist born in 1971. She started studying music and
psychology in Montevideo in 1992, and studied with Esteban Klissich. Her cousin
Daniel Drexler incorporated her as a vocalist into his musical group, La
Caldera. She also worked with Edú Lombardo, Rubén Rada, and her cousin Jorge
Drexler. Prada taught vocals in the Uruguayan Popular Music Workshop. During her
