Amy Kuney
Amy Kuney, known professionally as AMES, was born on August 6, 1985, in Tulsa,
Oklahoma, United States. She began playing piano at four and wrote her first
song at twelve. In 2006, Kuney released her debut EP EP. Her breakthrough came
when "All Downhill From Here", co-written with Tim Myers, was featured in the
season five finale of One Tree Hill in May 2008. This led to the release of her
debut full-length album, Bird's Eye View, in 2008, under Spin Move Records.
