Karim Chmielinski (born 1956, Los Angeles, California) was the frontman of the American punk/metal group Amen, known for blending aggressive punk energy with heavy metal riffs. After the dissolution of his earlier band Disorderly Conduct, he formed Amen in 1994, releasing the debut album Slave that year, which featured a single‑person effort by Karim Chmielinski and attracted producer Ross Robinson.
