Amduscia is a Mexican aggrotech band from Mexico City, founded in 1999 by Polo
Acevedo, Edgar Acevedo, and Raul Montelongo. Named after a demon from medieval
demonology, the group channeled the chaos of their environment into a caustic
blend of industrial beats and sinister melodies, drawing on influences from dark
wave and old-school EBM to synthpop and trance. A 2003 demo earned them a deal
with Germany’s Out of Line label and spawned the debut album Melodies for the
