Amanda Louisa Gosein‑Cameron, known professionally as Amanda Ghost, was born on
10 July 1974 in England. She grew up in North London, studied at the London
College of Fashion, and began writing songs with Ian Dench at age nineteen. Her
first recording contract came in 2000 with Warner Records, where she released
the album Ghost Stories on 12 September 2000; the single "Idol" entered the UK
Singles Chart at Number 63. In 2004, the track "Break My World" reached
Number 52 in the UK. Ghost’s EP, Blood on the Line (2006), was issued on her own
Plan A Records, and the EP Singles & Rem...
