Allmänna Sången is a Swedish choir founded in 1830 and based in Upsala.
Initially established as a male choir associated with Uppsala University, it
transitioned to a mixed gender ensemble in 1963. Cecilia Rydinger-Alin led the
group from 1988 until 2009. Allmänna Sången was known for its extensive
repertoire, particularly emphasizing music from the 20th century and beyond.
Their concerts, including annual performances under the Gunillaklockan bell at
Uppsala Castle and the traditional Walpurgis Night concert on April 30, were
