Former lead singer of the new wave electronic pop group Yazoo with Vince Clarke,
Allison Moyet (born in Basildon, Essex, on June 18, 1961) embarked on a solo
career in 1983, marked by numerous chart-toppers ("Love Ressurection", "Is This
Love?"...). His career, which began as synth-pop, evolved first towards
jazz-pop, notably with one of his main chart hits, "That Ole Devil Called Love"
(1985) and the album Voice (2004), then towards a rock sound still marked by
